Becoming a teacher is far more than a job or a career. It is about being a role model and a friend. It is about having the honor to inspire the minds of those children sitting in your classroom on a daily basis. It is about igniting the flame of curiosity and the continuous thirst for knowledge. As Henry Adams once said, “a teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”. My interest in teaching began when my wonderful second grade teacher inspired me.
My name is Christina Coscia. I have wanted to be a teacher from when I was in 1st grade. I guess that is why I was drawn to Early Childhood Education where I have spent 12 years of my career.
